Don Leonardo shoves Esme in the car he had summoned in secret. "Now, you will help me in levelling Seattle, and then we will both take the Marriage Rites, and be as one. There is NO debate over this."

Esme is resigned to her fate.

Don Leaonardo ghouled a driver to ignore any and allobstacles, including roadsign and people.

They head to Harbor Island.

GM:

To avoid these obstacles, and get to Harbor Island, will require TWO checks, or dice rolls. We wont bother with character skills for now. Driving skill and the character's reflex number would come in handy here.

Since we are in a race against time, a (-5) will be accessed to the roll. The DC (Difficulty Class) will be 10.

As an example, if we rolled a 12 on the D20, we would then acess the -5 and get 7. Since we need to score the DC 10 or higher, we failed the test. Depending on how bad the roll was missed could mean you either blew a tire or rolled it. If you crahed it, we would check for personal damage.

Let's see what happens in the next thread.

Since the roll was 18, we then include the (-5), which gives us 13. We needed 10, so we succeeded.

Simple.

The ghoul makes it to the highway and must now get to Harbor Island. The test to manuever through the collosal fuel tanks will be 7 (we split the penalty since these are far larger and easier to avoid but still dangerous if crashed into. And I'm being lenient).

DC 7

In this instant we would say: DAMN GOOD DRIVING, MR GHOUL!!!!

The GM could give extra/bonus time for getting a 20. And I think I will.

Don Leonardo decides NOT to kill this subhuman since he drove with impeccable skill, and got them here with time to spare.

Leonardo and Esme locate the submerged nukes.

"Esme, you will help me hook the ambilicles and raise the nukes."

Isis was waiting for the call and got it from her connections downtown. She was never fond of this city but it did give her the souls she needed to live. Men were so easy to pursuade, but so were women. It was easy with them. Just tell what they want to hear, ask what they are willing to trade, and then make the deal.

This was the deal he made with Leo. Nuke the city, give me souls, and I'll give you that one you want called Esme. She stands across the harbor hoping Leo will know she is there and waiting.

Don Leonardo uses his immortal strength to heave-ho the nukes up from the dark waters. Lichen and algae, as well as rust, coat the elongated death devices.

The ghoul driver keeps a close vigil of the surroundings and will signal if anyone should stray in their vicinity. Leonardo's orders were simple: kill. There's no time to distinguish between a zombie and a normal mortal.

Don Leonardo did notice Isis standing across the bay but his task took all his concentration. She will get what she wants and he will get his just reward.

"We need a conveyance to move this for optimum effect. Unless you plan on levitating them to the center of the city?"

"I can acquire us a truck? Levitation only goes so far... although in this panic it is likely that people will think they're hallucinating."

She searches around for a big-rig, and happily locates one with the keys, thank the goddess, in the ignition.
