Esme stands now in Ana's hotel room, looking around. Don Leonardo must know of their return from hell. Everything looked alright from the looks of it outside. She stood, and ran her fingers through her hair. She looked at her brother and Ana, and her smile faded. "You two must leave. Keep the necklace. It will protect you. I will deal with the family. Go NOW." She walks out of the room, and stands in front of the door, almost guarding it. She looks around for Leonardo or his men.

Don Leonardo stood vigil ooutside and glanced upward to the moon that was phasing past the eclipse. He knew there was more trouble ahead since Morrelle was brought out incomplete. He dared not to speak of this (and you all don't know!) with anyone until the time was right. He would, however, stick around awhile and observe his behavior.

There was, yet, another conundrum to deal with, and that was Morrelle's crimes and misdeeds. The family has not forgotten, nor has the Hit Squad been recalled. There were three teams: one went to Los Angeles, the second went to Bergen, Norway, and the third went to Seattle. It was this team that has failed to call in. *they got Pinheaded at the family mansion. Messy, very messy.

A sweet-smelling figure approaches Don Leonardo from behind, and he knew from the scent who it was.

“Morgan, how sweet of you to join us,” he states in a sarcastic way. “Better late than never.”

“I came for my brother,” she said smoothly. “I know he's here. I've come to take him home.”

Don Leonardo turns to face her, but never intended to. “I'm afraid the family, MY family, will not let that happen. Your claim on him is obsolete ever since you denounced your heritage. I should snap your neck for that disgrace. But only because of the love I have for your late mother, God rest her soul, I will forgo your deserving punishment.”

He turns his gaze to the gondolas, and the boatmen's Italian love-songs, filling the narrow waterways as they fade into the night.

“He will stand trial,” he says calmly.

“Yes, he will,” Sidney echoes from a dark alleyway. “His time has passed,” She saddles up to Don Leonardo and smiles. “And then we take his crown.”

Sidney will sit at Leonardo's right hand, looking over Seattle. A place to rule! Finally, a place to rule!

Morgan is tired of these games. "No, you're not reading me correctly. My brother is dead. I have come to take his body back home. Or did you forget his real body was burnt and wrapped for delivery to be sent back here? The Morrelle that escaped Hell is NOT my brother. He is a shell of him, an echo of what once was. Your so-called justice is hollow, uncle."

Esme left the halls now, and began to find her way outside. She had known she'd have to give up a long time ago. Her time was gone. She found a worker and asked them where Leonardo had gone. They directed her outside.

She stood now not too far from him. "Hello, Leonardo." Her now black hair shone like jet in the light. "I was wondering if you'd chosen to accept my offer." She adjusted the white button down shirt and black dress skirt the embassy had given her. She wore no makeup and looked drained from her ordeal. She stood now with her hands folded behind her back, awaiting his response.

Outside of Hotel

There are now four people conversing outside: Leonardo, Sidney, Morgan, and now Esme.

Morgan, also known as Morgana, before her brother stepped into the Abyss was born Giovanni, but from a different father than Morrelle and Esme. She is a step-sister, who turned her affections at a very young age towards Morrelle. Once she was turned, these “feelings” tempered, but not completely.

Over the years she has made repeated attempts to gain his affections, and even bear his child when she heard of the breakthrough Morrelle had made. She didn't have the patience to learn the family necromancy, which takes decades of grueling study and practice. So Morgan studied pagan practices and was surprisingly adept, so much in fact, that she was welcomed into a well-known society of wytches (old European spelling) just outside Venice.

She never formally renounced her lineage. but the writing was on the wall.

The others grow silent as Esme approaches.

“”And what offer is that, child?”

"Spare those three... Midnight, Ana, and Morelle, and I turn myself in. Otherwise.. I may be one of the enemies you'll wish you never made. Let them rebuild Seattle. It can be done. You know it." She looks to Morgan. "Not surprised to see you here..." then to Sidney. "Antonio never told you I was pregnant, did he? Pity. Ah well, it's dead now." She goes back to ignoring the two women again, her focus solely on Leonardo.

Don Leonardo will never get used to the new breeds disrespect for their elders, vampire or otherwise. “My child, your idle threats are trivial to me. I have outlived you 100 - fold., and have seen your kind, come and go, throughout the ages. So please, spare me your martyrdom. The family has spoken, and so it shall be done, as it always has been done, long before you were born.”

He looks at Morgan.

“The body remains here until the trial is complete. Only then, may you take it to wherever you choose to bury it. But be warned! Make no attempt at devilry or witchery to conjure up his dead spirit. Nor may you reanimate it in any way.”

He adjusts his suit.

“I have spoken,” he states commandingly. “I am law. I am the family Justifier, and at last, justice will be served. It has been a long-time coming for Don Morrelle, and now nothing will stand in my way to see him punished, and finally be put down, once and for all.”

"As you wish." She spins and turns, going back inside. She had to get them out. She would make good on her threat. There once was time she possibly could have gone through with that, but now it was too late. Leonardo had only a slim idea of the powers he was messing with. she walked back to Ana's room, and stood outside the door for a minute. "He wants to play it this way... fine. I didn't come this far to let my little brother be destroyed. I have to fix this." She opens the door to Ana's room and walks in. "Ana.. I need your help. A ritual is required. We have to do this quickly."

Anabella sat kneeling next to her sister Midnight. Rhaul was preparing to take her back to Seattle and the Mansion.

Anabella turns to Esme. "Let's do this"

She opens her bag, and pulls the chain from Ana's neck. "We need a connection.. and Morelle's body. If we can transfer the soul into the body, we can bring Morelle back." she pulls out her athame, the Book, and the Box. "Ready? Hold out your hand."

Anabella holds out her hand looking quite puzzled at Esme. "I thought we had Morrelle? And whats that box for?" The questions came flooding to Anabella but she trailed off figuring whats the worst that could happen...Hell, again.

"Ok, Im ready....I think"

She takes the athame and cuts Ana's hand, then cuts her own. "Create a circle. " She closes her eyes, opening the book to the page desired, and begins to chant softly. "This is our offering, this is our plea. Bring back Morelle, put his soul into his body." She puts the box inside the circle now, and readies herself to open it and call Morelle forth.

Anabella keeps her eyes open and wtaches their blood intermingle as it drips slowly down the hand to the arm. She listens as Esme chants and recollects the evenings where Morgana taught her a think or two about the Sisterhood and dark magic.

Anabella closes her eyes and concentrates as Esme continues.
